Bahrain Hotels
Company, owner and operator of Gulf Hotel Bahrain,
has announced the 28th of February 2006 as the
completion date of works at the new Serviced
Apartments building within the hotel complex.
This building
reinforces the current status of Gulf Hotel
and Gulf International Convention & Exhibition
Centre as the biggest hotel property in Bahrain,
adding to the existing inventory of 360 rooms,
11 restaurants and bars and 2,200 seat convention
centre with an additional 2,500 sq.m. of exhibition
space.
The 15-story
building houses 97 apartments consisting of
1, 2 or 3 bedrooms. Each of the five-star serviced
apartments is fully equipped with luxury furnishings,
kitchen area and hotel amenities and facilities.
The new building
is conveniently located in what used to be known
as the South Wing garden. A glass-enclosed atrium
will soon connect the apartment building to
the South Wing building, giving easy access
to the hotel’s recreation, food and beverage,
and business facilities.
All residents
of the Serviced Apartments will have full use
of the Hotel’s Health Club facilities
and the stunning landscaped poolside.
The new building
shall accommodate some of the Gulf Hotel’s
guests during the Gulf Air Grand Prix event
to take place around the second week of March
2006.
